If you are planning to buy an SUV but you don’t have much money? Then the all New Mitsubishi ASX 2017 will be the best and perfect choice. ASX stands for Active sports crossover. It's one of the most affordable, small yet spacious SUV’s available in the market. The ASX is classed as a small SUV even though it's one of the roomier options in its segment. The car is compact on the outside. Its 4.4 meters long and 1.1 meters wide. It drives nicely and smoothly on country roads with good steering control and decent power. The ASX comes with a cruise control, reverse camera, Bluetooth phone connectivity and surprisingly with the automatic climate control air conditioning feature. Safety features include 7 airbags and stability control. It's also covered by a 5 year 100000 km warranty from Mitsubishi. The car is a big competition for the Honda H-RV and Mazda CX-3.
The Mitsubishi ASX is the alternative of the Mitsubishi RVR, which was introduced into Asian and other European countries. The RVR has similar chrome trim around the front similar to the ASX 2017. The RVR also has similar looks and similar features as of the new ASX. Both the vehicles are stuffed with goodies inside while the RVR lacks many security and electrical components that the latest ASX version has. The new ASX has better handling and better steering and seat positions while comparing to the RVR. The RVR is not suitable for short people, but a good option for taller people. But the ASX is suitable for any kind of people due to its shape.
The ASX has been in the industry since 2011. Mitsubishi also updates the car to keep it in competition. The car has a tall dimension and a sloping bonnet which gives an elevated view of the road ahead. The nicely finished interior of the ASX is one of the main reasons why this car’s sale increases every year even in tight competitions. The car’s interior is nicely finished and high quality fabrics are used in manufacturing the interior. The interior is in black color and has aluminum accents. The gear knob and steering wheel have a leather finish which gives a nice feel while you hold it. The interior of the ASX provides a lot of room for every passenger. The ASX got a face lift in 2016 bringing it back ahead of the sales curve. The ASX has a really nice functional shape to it. It has a high square roof, which gives plenty of headspace for the rear passengers. The seats are pretty comfortable too comparing it with the seats of other SUV’s available in the market. It is easier to get in and out of the car too. The ASX has a big trunk in which you can easily fit in 3 medium sized suitcases. It also has an under boot storage section to keep your belongings out of sight. The headlamps of the ASX are wide vision and has HID bulbs giving you the clear and brighter vision.
The ASX has three engine variants. The 1.6 liter petrol engine, the 1.6 liter diesel engine and the 2.2 liter direct injection diesel engine. The engine of the ASX is designed to give greater performance without reducing the economical fuel consumption. The ASX has a rigid body structure incorporating high quality steel. The ASX has a tire monitoring system which will notify the driver in case a tire deflation occurs. The Hill hold feature of the ASX will hold the car from rolling backward while cruising through steep hills. Handling of the ASX is safe and comfortable. The driving position is excellent, the instruments are really clear. The car has lots of shoulder space and big wheel space. And hence this 5 seater can fit five people really comfortably. The ASX comes in 8 different colors and 2 price variants, LS & XLS. Even though the ASX is designed for on road usage, it also promises a decent off-road adventure, but don’t expect it to be a Pajero.
Mitsubishi provides electric windows, and rear view mirrors even in the ASX’S basic variant. In the highest Variant you can get a keyless entry and the 4 wheel drive option, leather seats, panoramic sunroof and blue LED lighting, Automatic Headlight and wiper. The car has parking sensors and a really cool looking 18 inch alloy wheels which makes the car look far from basic. The car has a really smooth transmission. Keeping away the noise the ASX provides you with a very nice driving experience, Smoother transitions and high performance will surely add more value to the money you pay for your Mitsubishi ASX. The ASX is surely something out of the ordinary in the SUV segment.
Unfortunately the ASX can’t escape the fact that it has been around since 2011 and that’s the most confusing side. The most disappointing thing about the ASX is that the car produces too much road noise because the suspensions doesn’t have much compliance. Conversations between the front and rear passengers can become difficult due to this road noise inside the car which becomes a disadvantage for this well packed SUV from Mitsubishi. The engine has an inspirational sound, but you could sometimes hear it inside the car which won’t feel good if you are a calm person. The car has greater ground clearance and better grip on the road than most of the other SUV’s. The car can smoothly handle drifty and steep roads. It has good traction while making turns at higher speeds. The car has impressive breaks too. The ASX also has a very beautifully finished meter controls which looks prettier and clearer. The switches and controls in the steering wheel are also a very cool feature for an SUV of this price range.
For overall cost effectiveness The Mitsubishi ASX runs out the Honda H-RV and Mazda SX-3 which are its main competitors because the ass is the most affordable and represents the best value of that range of money. For those who are on a tight budget The Mitsubishi ASX is the best and better choice. The ASX gives you style, luxury, performance and comfort at an affordable price. The Mitsubishi ASX is a driver friendly vehicle. Any age grouped person can experience smooth driving experience. This car is definitely something out of the box and it will satisfy you completely.
